This event will be the biggest Sake tasting event ever in Western Canada.
Over 21 sake brewers and importers will participate both Trade Tasting and Consumer Tasting Consumer.
Try over 100 different styles of SAKE from Japan, Canada and the United States.
CHOYA was founded by the Kondo family in 1914, and at first focused on viticulture. In 1959, the company made the historic decision to start production of Umeshu. Today, CHOYA is the biggest producer of Umeshu in the world.
CHOYA’s mission is to produce and promote the finest Umeshu, made with only natural ingredients.

DESCRIPTION
“Chozo” means store, although in this case it really refers to the six-month maturation period, and so NAMA-CHOZO is sake that has been in unpasteurized form, and pasteurized one time only after maturation (usually a six month period) or just before shipping. With carefully selected rice polished to 45%, it’s brewed at lower temperature and longer period. It gently comes out fresh and floral aroma.
