日系夏祭り
バーナビーの日系センターでは、毎年日本の夏祭りが楽しめます。
盆踊り、屋台、ゲームなど家族が楽しめるお祭りは、カナダに住む日系人だけでなく、
地元カナディアンにも支持され開催中の2日間（2016年9月3日/4日）はたくさんの人でにぎわいました。
カナダで飲める日本酒
日本の伝統文化でもある日本酒。ここ最近はカナダでも日本酒の人気が高まってきていて、リカーストアや日本食レストランでおいしい日本酒を飲む事ができます。カナダの人においしい日本酒をもっと知ってもらえるように、日系祭りのビアガーデンの一部に『利き酒まつり』と称して、日本酒のテイスティングテーブルでお酒を紹介しました。

備前 酒一筋 利守酒造 （岡山県赤磐市）
備前の国、岡山が誇る最高級の酒 米「赤磐雄町米」を丹念に磨き、伝 統の技で醸した味の一品。
「個性 豊かな」最上級純米酒。

BIZEN Sakehitosuji Toshimori Shuzo (Okayama)
Rich, creamy and oral A well-crafted Sake with an incredible herbal bouquet and sweet oral tones. The palate is soft and silky with an enticing suggestion of nuts and a delicious, lengthy nish.
金乃澤 金谷酒造店 （石川県白山市） 加賀特産の金箔をちりばめた、 華やかで、柔らかい口当たりの 日本酒。
霊峰白山の自然の恵みを感じる石川県ならではのお酒。

精選 天の戸 浅舞酒造 （秋田県横手市）
秋田の米どころ、横手盆地の 美山錦酒造好適米を使用。
芳醇で、のどごしすっきりとした辛口で飲みやすい純米酒。海鮮料理だけでなく、肉料理との相性も良。

AMANOTO Junmai Spcial Select Asamai Shuzo (Akita)
Very popular Junmai Sake in Akita. As the brewery brews all the sake on hand-made process, you can feel human touch on the Amanoto Sake. Special Select has rich aroma with lively and robust characteristics. This pairs well with various Japanese dishes but this is also a good sake to enjoy by itself.
華吹雪 神亀酒造 （埼玉県）
夏子の酒のモデルとなった 酒蔵。
酒造好適米で造られ た純米酒を使用し極上の 純米酒を醸す全量純米蔵 の先駆者としても知られている。

Hanafubuki Junmai Shinkame Shuzo (Saitama)
Your rst sip of this sake could be described as viewing light snowfall melting on the ground in late autumn. Initially smooth and with a hint of sweetness, a strong core avour will be revealed, transitioning into a mellow aftertaste. Sushi, steak, boiled tofu or other simple accompaniments are recommended.
英勲 古都千年 齊藤酒造 （京都府伏見）
水どころ伏見、祝米を使用した京都を代表 する酒、古都千年。
まろやかでやさしい味わいとフルーティーな香りが特長。
製造区分： 純米吟醸
EIKUN Koto Sen Nen Junmai Ginjo Saito Shuzo (Kyoto)
This SAKE is made with special brewing rice; “IWAI MAI” from local Kyoto prefecture.
This sake produces delicate taste with fruity and owery fragrance. Mildly sweet avour and a little bit of spicy, peppery taste after.
OSAKE Junmai Nama Genshu Granville Island (Vancouver BC)
OSAKE 純米生原酒 グランビルアイランド グランビルアイランドで生まれ たカナダ初の手造り純米酒。
フルーティーな香りと濃醇な 飲み口は肉やチーズとの相性 が良い。
